Tube End Finishing

Along with tube bending, BOYCE INDUSTRIES also has 3 specially designed tube end finishing machines with capacity to cold form thru expansion or reduction.

Round tube up to 5½" O.D. or square and rectangular tube to 3" O.D. this process can be used to expand or reduce up to 2 times material thickness on as much as 4" in length on material as heavy as .134 wall.

This equipment can be used to reduce to a matching slip fit or be used to provide transition from round to a shape. As this is a cold form process, it requires very conservative die costs and set-up charges.
